kinda....good news is I survived...

I was SO sure we had bought the diet version of this cream soda....well, we didn't...and this diabetic rockstar did not realize that until AFTER she had already had 2(!) full glasses of it...yeah....about that...needless to say, I had one heck of a day yesterday and only 3hrs (from time of incident) to do as much d-damage control as possible before I had to leave for work for 4 hrs....NOT one of my best stunts...but I survived and I learned from it....I guess. Phew....

Please, tell me a story that makes me feel like I'm not the only reckless suicidal diabetic out there LOL I'm chuckling now but it scared the Jonas sister out of me yesterday...I felt horrible (physically) and was beating myself up (mentally...mainly because I felt too weak and sick to actually beat myself up) and felt like an idiot...

Anyway...survived another day with diabetes...

I know, everyone always raves about the super thin BD lancets...well, I dunn like 'em...
They hurt more than the thicker lancets...which makes absolutely no sense but it is what it is.
I've also been using the colored Bayer lancets since my diagnosis, so maybe they're just what I'm used to.
Part of it is probably also psychological...I mean colored lancets DO amuse me and make testing a lil funner :)
